Important registration notes

• —Registration is per vehicle and includes one driver. A co-driver or passenger may be added for $3,500 unless otherwise stated in writing in the inclusions.
• —All participants, drivers and passengers alike, must be 21 years of age or older.
• —Guests who choose a deposit or pay-later option will be invoiced later and must pay the remaining balance in full before they are permitted to participate.
• —If a hotel becomes oversold, guests may be accommodated at an adjacent property of comparable standard.
• —Rooms, dinners, tours and related reservations require advance payment, so payments are non-refundable once the run is confirmed, except as set out under “If the run does not go ahead” below.
• —If you are unable to attend, we will attempt to assist with the resale and transfer of your place to another individual. Any replacement participant and vehicle must be approved by us.
• —Car rental assistance and car shipping assistance are available on request.

Who you are dealing with

The Heritage Run is organised and operated by Trofeo Karting, a company registered in Colorado. Trofeo Motoring Society is the name we use for this event; Trofeo Karting is the party these terms are with, and the party any later written confirmation and payment will be with.

Where these terms refer to “we”, “us” or “our staff”, that means Trofeo Karting together with its members, employees, consultants, agents, staff, assigns and attorneys.

Registering interest is not a booking

Submitting the form tells us you are interested. It does not reserve a place, create a contract, or oblige you to anything, and it does not oblige us to offer you a place.

The Heritage Run is limited to 10 vehicles and only goes ahead once ten drivers have registered. If that number is not reached, the run does not run, and we will tell you.

Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance. Registration is complete only when we have confirmed your place in writing and payment has been received.

Paying for your place

Paying is optional and separate from registering. Registering costs nothing and we will never ask for a card to do it. If you decide to pay, you will be sent a link to a page on this site where payment is taken.

Payment is handled by Stripe. Your card details are entered on Stripe's payment form and go to Stripe directly — we do not see them, and we do not store them.

Unlike registering, paying does secure your place, subject to the run going ahead.

Prices

The prices shown — $5,200 per driver and $3,500 for an optional co-driver — are what a place costs. Once you have paid, that is the price of your place and we will not ask you for more. Until you pay, we may correct an obvious error in a published price.

A driver travelling alone is booked into a king room. Adding a co-driver changes that booking to two double beds.

Personal travel to and from the run, airport transfers, fuel, vehicle transport, detailing, decal installation and upgraded parking are not included. Each is optional and billed separately; we are glad to help arrange them at cost to you.

If the run does not go ahead

The Heritage Run only goes ahead once ten drivers have registered. You may pay before that number is reached, which means you can pay for a run that is not yet certain.

If ten drivers are not reached and the run does not go ahead, everything you have paid is refunded in full, to the card you paid with. You do not need to ask, and we will tell you either way. This is the one circumstance in which money is returned rather than credited.

Cancellation by you

If you need to cancel a run you are registered for, the following applies:

• —You may relinquish your paid registration and receive a full credit toward a future run, provided the credit is used within 12 months of cancellation.
• —At our discretion, where you give at least 60 days' notice before the start date, a full credit toward a future run may be issued, to be used within 12 months of cancellation.
• —Because of group contracts and advance commitments, we are unable to offer a credit within 60 days of the start date.

Once the run is confirmed, entries are non-refundable. Rooms, decals and apparel are ordered as soon as payment is received, and those commitments cannot be unwound. If you fail to pay a remaining balance in full, we reserve the right to pursue compensation.

Transferring your place

If you are unable to attend, you may sell your place and transfer it to another individual rather than cancel it.

Tell us who is taking the place and we will move the booking across. Any money owed between you and the person taking it is a matter between the two of you — we do not process the payment or arbitrate the price.

The person taking the place must meet the same conditions as any other participant, including the 21 year age requirement, licence, registration and insurance, and we may decline a transfer on those grounds. Transfers close once final rooming and credential lists are submitted to our suppliers, and we will tell you that date in writing.

Nature of the event

We provide events and drives for motoring enthusiasts. No drive is a race, including where names such as “Run” or “Rally” are used. There is no timing, no scoring and no competitive element anywhere on the route, and the Tail of the Dragon passage is a measured, non-competitive drive.

Participants must not compete with one another in any manner and must not place bets of any kind in relation to the run.

Participants must drive safely and courteously at all times, and must not operate a vehicle if their ability to do so safely is impaired in any way, including by illness, fatigue, medication, alcohol, illegal substances, or any other condition that may endanger themselves, other participants, the public, pedestrians or property.

Reckless driving is strictly prohibited, including but not limited to:

• —cutting off other vehicles;
• —driving on road shoulders; or
• —otherwise endangering participants or the public.

Compliance with laws

Participants must comply with all applicable laws and regulations of any city, county, state or country in which they are present during the run, including but not limited to:

• —speed and traffic laws;
• —vehicle safety and operation laws;
• —vehicle registration requirements;
• —driving licence requirements;
• —insurance requirements; and
• —laws relating to alcohol, drugs and other prohibited substances.

Each participant is solely responsible for complying with any entry requirements for any country visited during the run.

We reserve the right to prohibit any participant from continuing for any violation of these requirements or any other provision of these terms.

Event credentials

We will provide event details and any required badges or credentials. Where badges are required, they must be worn at all times.

Vehicle eligibility

The run is open to all makes, models and years of vehicle. The majority of participating vehicles are expected to be luxury, sports, classic and exotic cars, and we seek a diverse and unique collection of high-end vehicles. Vehicles that are especially unique, exceptional or distinctive may have a greater chance of being accepted.

Each run is limited to a specific number of vehicles — this one to 10. Your vehicle must be road-legal, currently registered and insured for the whole route, and mechanically sound for roughly 500 miles of mountain driving.

Travel, accommodation and transport

Flights, airfare, airport transfers, hotels, accommodation and auto transport are not included in the entry fee unless specifically stated otherwise in writing by Trofeo Karting, or approved as an optional expense in writing.

No hotel rooms are included with participation unless specifically noted in writing.

Parking

A reserved section of parking is arranged for the group at each stop, and that is included.

Where a hotel offers a choice of self parking, valet parking or front parking, that choice and its cost are yours. Upgraded parking is billed to your room and settled at check-out, at the hotel's own pricing.

The itinerary may change

Hotels, venues and individual experiences are described in general terms because they are not yet contracted. We may substitute properties, venues or activities for ones of a comparable standard, and we may alter timings or the route for weather, road closures, safety or other circumstances outside our control.

Age requirement

All drivers and passengers participating in a vehicle on the run must be 21 years of age or older.

Participant responsibility

We accept no responsibility for, and shall not be liable for, the consequences of any participant's actions or omissions during the run, including but not limited to citations, charges, prosecution, or removal from participation arising from improper conduct at any stop, venue, establishment, public road or other location.

You drive your own vehicle and you alone are responsible for how you drive it. You must obey all traffic laws and speed limits, follow the briefings, and drive within your own and your vehicle's limits. We may ask anyone driving dangerously or unlawfully to leave the group.

Insurance requirements

Each participant must obtain and maintain appropriate insurance covering participation, and must provide proof of it on request in a form satisfactory to us. Appropriate insurance includes, without limitation:

• —third-party liability coverage;
• —participant liability coverage;
• —medical insurance;
• —property damage coverage;
• —life insurance; and
• —insurance covering the vehicle's involvement in the run.

Vehicle registration and driving licence

Each participant must:

• —hold a legal and valid vehicle registration matching the participant's name; and
• —hold a current, valid and unrestricted driving licence issued by one of the United States.

These documents must be presented on request.

Alcohol and substance use

Participants must be completely sober while operating any motor vehicle. No participant may consume alcohol while driving, or drive under the influence of alcohol or any intoxicating or impairing substance, at any time.

Force majeure

We shall not be responsible for failure to fulfil our obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to fire, earthquake, epidemic, pandemic, cyclone, flood, drought, strike, lightning, revolution, terrorist activity, government action, natural disaster, or other events generally recognised as force majeure under the laws of the State of Colorado.

If such an event occurs, a participant may relinquish their place and receive a full credit toward another of our runs within 12 months of cancellation. Where such an event makes it illegal or impossible for either party to perform, that party may terminate on written notice without further liability.

For the avoidance of doubt, any deposit paid before the originally scheduled run will be allocated to another of our runs on pre-agreed terms and is not refundable.

Vehicle branding and sponsor logos

Participants agree to display the Trofeo Motoring Society logo and any other logos we designate, including official sponsor logos, on their vehicles for the duration of the run.

Participants may not obscure, alter or remove such logos, and must keep them clean and clearly visible throughout.

These logos are designed to be removable without damaging the vehicle finish. We are not responsible for claims of damage to a vehicle's finish arising from their application or removal.

Sponsor advertising and unauthorised sponsorships

Official sponsors may advertise to participants.

Participants may not display personal sponsorship branding on their vehicles or clothing without our prior written consent. We may withhold consent at our sole discretion, and reserve the right to refuse participation to unauthorised sponsored vehicles.

Withdrawal after the run has begun

Once the run has commenced, we will not issue any refund of the entry fee or other compensation if a participant is unable to continue for any reason.

The route is demanding. If a participant does not complete any part of it, or is unable to stay at any provided venue, no refund is due.

Cancellation by us, or refusal of participation

We reserve the right to refuse participation in, or cancel, the run at any time and for any reason.

If the run is cancelled, or a participant is refused participation, the participant will receive a full credit toward a future run, except where the cancellation results from a force majeure event as described above, and except where the run does not go ahead for want of numbers, in which case payments are refunded in full as set out above.

Any costs other than the entry fee remain the sole responsibility of the participant.

Photography and filming consent

By participating, each participant consents to being photographed and filmed in connection with the run.

Each participant waives any rights of publicity or privacy and grants us full permission to use and exploit their name, image, likeness, voice and biographical material in any media worldwide, in perpetuity, for publicity, promotional, commercial and related purposes.

We have sole discretion to use, edit or decline to use any such photographs or footage. Participants release us from any claims related to invasion of privacy, defamation or similar causes of action arising from the production, distribution, broadcast or use of such materials.

Restricted use of our branding

Participants may not use the Trofeo Motoring Society logo, or any other logos we designate, for any purpose other than displaying them on the vehicle during the run, unless prior written consent has been obtained. This includes use on websites, printed materials and other media.

Participant photography and footage

Participants may take photographs and film footage of their own participation for personal, private, non-commercial use only.

Participants may not publish, reproduce, broadcast or commercially use photographs or footage of the run on websites, in print, or in television or other programmes without our prior written consent.

Participants agree to assign to us all right, title and interest in the worldwide copyright and all intellectual property rights in such photographs and footage, in perpetuity, and to deliver copies to us within 30 days after the end of the run at no cost.

Media appearances

Participants may not arrange or conduct any media appearance relating to their participation without our prior written consent.

Personal information and third parties

While we make reasonable efforts to keep personal information secure, we do not accept responsibility for its loss or theft.

By participating, each participant consents to their personal details being shared with third parties we consider appropriate for the operation of the run — for example hotels, venues, circuits and transport providers. How this site handles your information, and the processors it reaches, is set out in full in our Privacy Policy.

Risks associated with participation

Participants acknowledge that participation is potentially dangerous and involves numerous risks, including but not limited to:

• —traffic accidents;
• —collisions with pedestrians, vehicles, or fixed or moving objects;
• —the negligence of other drivers;
• —serious bodily injury or death;
• —long periods of driving;
• —fatigue and strenuous physical exertion; and
• —inclement weather and roadway hazards.

Every mile runs on public roads, where the normal risks of travel are present.

Assumption of risk

With full knowledge and understanding of the risks involved, each participant voluntarily enters the run and fully accepts and assumes all risks of loss, damage, injury or death arising out of participation.

If the run is confirmed, you will be asked to sign a separate participant waiver before taking part. That waiver covers the drive itself and sits alongside these terms rather than replacing them; where the two conflict, the signed waiver prevails.

Compliance with terms of entry

Each participant agrees to comply with all terms and conditions of entry. Participants acknowledge that we will use reasonable efforts to encourage compliance by others, but cannot guarantee that all participants will comply.

Release of liability

In consideration of being allowed to participate, each participant waives, releases and forever discharges us, our officers, directors, employees, consultants, agents and sponsors from any and all claims, demands, damages, injuries, losses or causes of action arising directly or indirectly from participation, including emergency or medical services provided during the run. This release includes, without limitation, claims for:

• —personal injury;
• —death;
• —property damage;
• —economic loss;
• —breach of contract;
• —lost wages;
• —contribution or indemnity;
• —punitive damages;
• —negligence; and
• —any other legally recognisable claim arising from participation.

We take reasonable care in organising the run and in choosing the suppliers we work with, but we are not responsible for the acts or omissions of independent third parties such as hotels, venues, circuits, restaurants or transport providers.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for personal injury or death caused by our negligence, or that of persons under our control, or for fraud, to the extent such liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

Indemnity

Each participant agrees to release, defend, indemnify and hold harmless us, our officers, directors, employees, consultants, agents, sponsors, licensees and assigns from and against any and all claims, demands, damages, liabilities, losses, suits or actions arising directly or indirectly out of the participant's actions or participation, whether made during or after the run, including all related costs and expenses and any settlement amounts paid by us.

This includes any violation of federal, state, county or city laws, ordinances or regulations, and any breach of these terms.

Conflict of interest

If a participant creates their own rally, or solicits other participants to attend another company's rally, we reserve the right to remove that participant from the current run and from our social media platforms without penalty or refund.

If that participant is also one of our sponsors, we may terminate the sponsorship without penalty or refund due to the conflict of interest.

This website

We try to keep this site accurate and available, but we do not guarantee either. The text, photography, design and marks on it belong to us or our licensors, and may not be copied or reused without permission.

Please do not attempt to disrupt the site, submit false registrations, or use automated tools against it.

Amendments to these terms

We may modify these terms from time to time. Participants will be notified of any changes, and continued participation constitutes acceptance of the amended terms. This version is dated 20 August 2026.

Governing law

These terms, this agreement, and your involvement in the run are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, and you submit exclusively to the jurisdiction of the courts of that state.

By completing the entry form, participating, and accepting these terms, you enter into a legally binding agreement with Trofeo Karting.
